Post-Release Services

Our Post-Release Office is located at 40 Boardman Place, a half block from the front doors of the San Francisco Hall of Justice. We're open from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, and we're more than happy to talk with any and all ex-offenders.

Persons released from jails and prisons receive assessment of needs, counseling, and basic emergency assistance such as food and clothing, temporary I.D., and referrals to shelters or rehab programs. Referrals include members of the Safe Communities Re-entry Council. These first, key steps provide the base for further progress in re-entry.

Success in re-entry to society is then supported by a variety of services, including our two key programs: Life Skills Training and Job Training and Job Placement.

Special needs of non-custodial parents and homeless ex-offenders are specifically addressed.

We offer a Day Reporting Center for parolees.
